About Us

Together, Max and I are on a mission to educate and support others in their journey with service dogs. Whether you’re looking for practical tips, emotional support, or just a fun idea, we hope our experiences can guide and inspire you.

Hello, I'm Crysta! My journey with service dogs began when I faced mobility challenges that impacted my daily life and my newfound love for dancing. Getting my own service dog, Max, was a turning point, but it came with its own set of hurdles. The process was overwhelming, and finding user-friendly information was difficult. This experience inspired me to start this blog, aiming to make the road to obtaining and living with a service dog more accessible and less daunting for others.

Max is my wonderful 2-year-old Husky mix and my dedicated service dog. Trained to assist with both mobility and psychiatric support, Max is more than just a helper—he's my loyal companion. Max has been trained to provide physical support to help me with balance and walking, ensuring I can navigate the world with greater ease and independence. Max's personality is as remarkable as his training. He’s the calmest, sweetest, and fluffiest boy you’ll ever meet. Max has a special talent for making everyone feel loved, often demanding cuddles and hugs. He's known for his expressive "offended" acts whenever someone leaves the house without him, ensuring no one forgets how much he'll miss them. His gentle nature and affectionate behavior make him a truly irreplaceable part of my life.
